Holt Family Reunion

Ever year we thoroughly enjoy our Holt family reunion. Usually it's in Park City, but this year it was in Ogden at Wolf Creek. Wolf Creek is beautiful! It's nice to get away and be with family for a weekend. I especially love being with all the little cousins. They are so cute!!

We loved being able to hang out all day, having our meals planned for us, and taking a break from work!
Hank. Hank is four. He usually never speaks to everyone. Well, he does now. He asked for Andrew and I when he woke up every morning. (Maybe he really likes us, maybe he really likes our Prince of Persia game.) He hung out with us all day Saturday, we loved it. He kept saying really funny things. For example:

Hank: do you want to play foos[ball] golf?
Andrew: are you making this up?
Hank: yes.

Hank: I want to eat what we ate earlier. long, circle, brown
Amber: licorice?
Hank: no, hot dog.

Hank: so, do you think we can go play that game, frinz of versia? (AKA Prince of Persia)

Kendall (four years old) put a bunch of dots on my big toe and told me, "it's a horse!" and then it smeared and I thought it looked like a person kicking a soccer ball. Nice work.

When we went swimming, we pretty much took over the pool because there were so many of us. We swam for at least two hours every day. No one thought they'd get sunburned since we've all been in the sun all summer. We were ALL wrong.
High altitude=peeling shoulders and backs; but totally worth it.

Every night we met at 6:00 for dinner. (Before dinner on Saturday, Collin got a mohawk. Check it out, it looks pretty good. He had a soccer tournament the following week, so good fit eh?)

Andrew and I have a sweet camera (YEAH for Target gift cards!). It has a lot of fun settings on it. We were using the bulge setting and the color settings when we took these pictures. Hilarious.

Three years ago, we got all the girls together and did each others make-up. This is one of my favorite parts of the weekend. It is really sweet to see all the girls getting along. No one is left out, all ages are invited. It does get messy though. My first coat of nail polish was done by my two year old cousin. My second coat was done by my two four year old cousins. What a great time we have!!
