Andrew and I just moved into the most BEAUTIFUL basement apartment you can imagine. It's quite a change from the tiny one bedroom, Barbie-sized kitchen apartment we had before. We looooove it. Yesterday I was unpacking my stuff. The elderly woman upstairs had grandchildren running around the house and in the backyard. They didn't seem to notice someone moved in (the basement has been empty and unfinished for a few years); then I was spotted.
grandchild: (pointing to me) There is a girl in there!
Me: (look up, wave)
run away
6 seconds later
5 Grandchildren: (peeking in, running by, giggling.)
